Problem

A client needed to automate Twitter/X engagement, posting contextual replies without doing it manually for every interaction.

Solution

Built a browser extension using injected JavaScript content scripts to read tweet content, paired with a Python backend that calls an LLM to generate and post contextual replies automatically.

System Architecture & Data Pipeline

Extension Architecture: Manifest V3 content script for sub-second DOM inspection and viral potential scoring, hooked to a Python FastAPI backend with 3-tier fallback (Groq -> Gemini -> Ollama).

Highlights

  • Built a browser extension for Twitter/X using injected JavaScript content scripts to read page content.
  • Built a Python backend that calls an LLM to generate and post contextual replies automatically.
  • Delivered as client work; ships as a browser extension rather than a deployed web app.

Impact

Delivered a working browser extension for a client that automates Twitter/X engagement end to end. Distributed as a browser extension rather than a hosted web app, so it has no separate deployment.
